Start with the devices, not the phone bill
The move to digital phone services is not only about replacing a handset. Alarm panels, payment terminals, care alarms, lift phones, intercoms and some broadband services may rely on older PSTN or ISDN lines.
Plan for power and resilience
Digital voice services normally need powered broadband equipment. Where a phone line supports safety, care or business-critical use, plan backup power and failover before changing the line.
Keep records
List each line, number and connected device, then confirm with the device supplier whether it is compatible with digital voice. Dyfed IT can help turn that audit into a tidy migration plan.
